Curling is an Olympic sport in which teams of four throw 42 pounds stones down a 150 foot sheet of ice. As the stone is sliding down the sheet, two of the four teammates will sweep the stone so that it may travel straighter or farther. The goal of curling is to score more points than your opponent within a given number of ends, usually eight or ten.
