Hockey is a team sport in which two teams play against each other. Players use sticks to try and get the puck or ball into the other team's goal. It can be played on ice, a field, concrete, and many more surfaces. Teams usually play five vs. five or six vs. six, with one of those players acting as a goalie, two defensive players, and two or three offensive players.

Beikou Tarkbei has been played for over 1,000 years by the people of Daur, who are from Mongolia, China. The game is played for two 15-minute periods. Games are played on a field with a goal on each end of the field. Other equipment used is a stick called Beikou Tarkbei made out of Quercus Mongolian Wood. There are a few different types of balls that are used, and each is made of a different material. The three types are the wood ball, hair ball, and fire ball. All of these balls are called Daur Pulie.

Ice Hockey is considered to be the most popular type of hockey, especially in Canada and the United States. It is also very popular in some countries in Europe and Asia. One of the main reasons for ice hockey’s popularity is the NHL. The NHL is the largest professional ice hockey league and garners a ton of publicity for the sport each year. Ice hockey is also a part of the Winter Olympics, and Olympic ice hockey was the focus of the hit movie “Miracle,” which reenacts one of the greatest upsets in the sports history. Another reason that ice hockey is so popular internationally is because of its fast pace of play, frequent action, and physical contact. 

For all types of hockey sports, the player will need a stick, goals, and a puck or ball to play. In some types of hockey, you will also need protective equipment like shoulder pads, knee pads, gloves, and a helmet. However, in some hockey sports, players use goggles instead of a helmet. For the types of hockey on ice, the player will need skates to play, but cleats or sneakers are needed for all other variations.
