Poker Rules

Poker is a card game played by two to seven players.

The players take turns dealing each hand.

A player's hand is private and should not be seen by any other players.

The players take turns placing bets into a pot using poker chips based on how good they think their cards are.

When a player bets all their remaining chips, they are going "all in."

If a player does not want to match a bet, they can give up their cards and "fold."

Good poker hands involve making combinations of cards such as straights (sequentially ranked card numbers), same numbers, same suits (flushes), and more.

The player with the best hand at the end of the round wins the pot.

If all the other players fold, the last player left wins the whole pot.

Once a pot is won, the hand is over and a new hand is dealt to all the players.

When a player runs out of chips, they either have to buy more or are out of the game.
