In this chapter we will explore the types of penalties that exist in kickball, when they happen, and the consequences that are assessed when a player or team is called for one.
IMPORTANT: Please note that the rules of kickball vary based on the level of play and the rules of a league. Please refer to your league's rulebook for more information.
A penalty is called on any player who breaks the rules of kickball as defined in the rulebook for a league. Penalties can result in an out, a baserunner earning a base, or even an ejection from the game.
What We'll Be Learning
First we'll learn about the referees and what their jobs are on the field. Then we'll learn what a penalty is.
