Kickball Baserunning

Chapter 7

In this chapter, we will learn about baserunning and the transition a kicker takes when he becomes one. By the end of this chapter you will understand what a baserunner is and what his goals are in a kickball game.


Baserunning is an important part of kickball and scoring runs. A baserunner needs to complete the circuit of bases and touch 1st base, 2nd base, 3rd base, and home plate in that order to score a run.

What We'll Be Learning

In this chapter, we will learn what baserunning is, how it works, and some strategies baserunners use to score runs. We will also learn about base coaches and the rules of baserunning such as tagging up.
