Patrick Kane is a professional NHL hockey player who has played right wing for the Chicago Blackhawks since 2007. In the 2007 NHL draft, he was chosen as the 1st overall pick by the BlackHawks. Kane is one of the greatest hockey players in the game, winning the Stanley Cup 3 times since then. Patrick Kane was born in Buffalo, NY on November 19th, 1988. He was the first child of Donna and Patrick Kane Senior, who ended up later having 3 more daughters after Patrick.
Kane started playing hockey on the C-line at the mite division in Cazenovia, New York. Throughout his early years, Patrick learned the fundamentals of skating and stickhandling from his father. Kiki (Kane's father) would drive Patrick up to four hockey rinks a day, just to get him on the ice as much as possible.
