Ice Hockey Player Positions

In this chapter, we'll dive deeper into an ice hockey team by learning about the player positions. We'll also learn about the strategies that are associated with the any ice hockey team.

The Player Positions

We've already learned that ice hockey is a 5-on-5 game (not including the goalies). As a result, each team has six (6) players on the ice, five (5) skaters and one (1) goalie. Each of these players has a unique role and responsibility during a game.
