A leg in kickball is the kicker's appendage used in his kicking motion along with the foot. It is important we define a player's leg since the rules of kickball state that a legal kick must be hit by a player's foot or any part of the leg below the hip. A kicker's leg and foot can not go beyond the front of home plate while kicking or a strike will be called. The pitcher must also have at least one foot and leg behind the pitching strip when pitching.
