Touchdowns

A touchdown in football is one of the ways teams score points in a game. Touchdowns are worth six (6) points and require the offense to carry or catch the ball into the opposing team's end zone while staying inbounds. After a touchdown is scored, an untimed down called a try is used to earn additional points from the extra kick or two point conversion. If successful, a touchdown can earn a team seven (7) or eight (8) points on the drive.
