Tic-Tac-Toe Basic Rules For Kids

Tic-Tac-Toe Rules
Tic-Tac-Toe is played on a grid with nine squares.
The Tic-Tac-Toe grid has three rows of three squares stacked on top of each other.
To begin playing, find a friend to play with and draw materials.
You can play Tic-Tac-Toe on paper, a board, or even with chalk!
First, draw the Tic-Tac-Toe grid.
Then, decide which player will draw X’s and which will draw O’s.
To play, each person takes a turn and draws their symbol in one of the empty squares.
Don’t draw your symbol in a square that is already filled!
Once you place your mark, you can’t take it back, so think carefully!
The object of Tic-Tac-Toe is to have three of your symbols make a straight line.
The line can go sideways, up and down, or diagonally.
The first player to make a straight line with three of their symbols wins!
If nobody has a straight line of three symbols when the grid is filled, it’s a tie!
