You need at least three people to play monkey in the middle, but you can play with more people.

When you play monkey in the middle, two players pass a ball back and forth.

One player, the “monkey,” stands in the middle and tries to catch the ball.

The other two players try to throw the ball over their head.

The point of the game is to not let the player in the middle catch the ball.

If the player in the middle catches the ball, the person who threw it has to go in the middle.

The player in the middle is not allowed to grab the ball from the other two players.

There is no time limit for the game.

Some people allow the ball to touch the ground when they play, but others do not.
