Kevin Durant is an American basketball player that plays for the Brooklyn Nets in the NBA. In high school, Durant was very successful and played for three different schools including National Christian Academy and Montrose Christian School in Maryland along with Oak Hill Academy in Virginia. After being heavily recruited by top Division I schools, he played basketball at the University of Texas for one year before entering the NBA to play for the Seattle Supersonics (now known as the Oklahoma City Thunder). While playing for the Thunder, Durant led the league in scoring four different seasons and also earned NBA MVP in 2014. After his time with the Thunder, Durant left to play for the Golden State Warriors in 2016 where he won two NBA championships. Following the 2018-2019 season, he signed with the Brooklyn Nets but due to an achilles injury, he missed the entirety of the 2019-2020 season.
