2023 NBA Rising Stars Players

Every year since 1994, the NBA has hosted the NBA Rising Stars Challenge, an exhibition basketball game meant to showcase the league’s up and coming players. The game traditionally occurs the Friday before the NBA All-Star Game, as a part of All-Star Weekend. Since 2022, the Rising Stars game has consisted of a three-game miniature tournament, where four teams composed of three classes of player (rookie, sophomore, and G League) compete against each other. In all, 28 players are selected to participate in the game, 11 rookies, 10 sophomores, and seven G League players. Players that are injured will be replaced by healthy players chosen by the NBA commissioner.
