Badminton Basic Rules For Kids

Badminton Rules
Badminton can be played with either one player on each team or in doubles with two players on each team.
The racquets used are similar to tennis but are much lighter and smaller.
The birdie is a cone-shaped object that is very light and does not fall to the ground quickly.
The sport is played on a court with a net, and players hit the birdie back and forth over the net using racquets.
To score a point, you must make the birdie land on the ground on the other team's side of the court.
You can also score points when the other team hits the birdie out of bounds or does not hit the birdie over the net.
A point is scored on every serve. Whichever team scores the point will serve for the next point.
In order to win the game, one team must reach 21 points.
